Digital Fossil_lathe Mantis by Milos Peskir

The reality of displaced existence in the field of the intangible – the fragile universe of the digital.
The evolutionary closeness of humans and digital artefacts is the aesthetic/ontological base for the concept of Digital Fossil.
In spite of its calmness, as a wiry profiler, “lathe Mantis” is shaping a quasi-linear flow and initiates perfect focus on the reconnection of broken patterns.
Procedure of randomness, as a foundation for this abstract solution, is balanced by an organic treatment of AV elements.
The relation between video and audio is inter-reactive. The sound provokes the visual composition in movement, speed of the reshaping, colour and texture, while visual elements generate the sounds, determine its dynamic, pitch and character.
